There it is … abandoned in a corner of the kitchen … use it! Take your blender or your minipimer and with these delicious smoothie recipes you will get a complete meal rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber that will help you to cleanse your body.

healthy shakes

The shakes are obtained by mixing milk, yogurt or ice cream with fruits (you can also make juices if you do not use one of these ingredients). This drink is very nutritious and refreshing, and presents a wide variety of options in its preparation. If you are sweet, we recommend that you use some sweetening fruit in the combination, since this way you get used to the taste of the fruit without adding sugar, which would add even more calories.

If you are going to use acid fruits such as orange, tangerine, lemon or grapefruit, it is better to use yogurt instead of milk, since it is cut, and although it is not indigestible, its appearance is not appetizing. Fruits such as banana, pear, peach, strawberries or apple do admit the mixture with milk.

1. Strawberry, orange and banana smoothie

  • 1 banana
  • 140 g strawberries (about 20)
  • 2 orange juice
  • 1 Greek yogurt

Beat all the ingredients very well and serve right away.

2. Mango and apricot smoothie

  1. 2 ripe mangoes
  2. 300 grams ripe apricots
  3. 1 lemon
  4. 200 grams plain yogurt
  5. 2 teaspoons stevia
  6. Ice cubes.

Peel the mangoes and apricots. In the blender mix the pulp of the mixers, along with lemon, stevia, yogurt and ice cubes. We crush everything with the help of the blender until there is a homogeneous mixture shake.

3. Kiwi and apple smoothie

  • 3 kiwis
  • 1 golden apple
  • Orange juice to taste

4. Melon smoothie

  • 1 melon
  • 2 tablespoons natural yogurt
  • 1/2 glass of vegetable milk (can be almond milk, coconut milk, sesame milk or whatever you like)
  • Optional: a little honey and mint leaves.

Peel the melon and remove the seeds. We cut it into pieces and put it in the blender. We add 2 tablespoons natural yogurt and half a glass of vegetable milk, and optionally, a teaspoon of honey and some mint leaves, leaving some mint leaves to decorate.

5. Lemon smoothie

  1. 500 gm natural yogurt
  2. 1 glass lemon juice
  3. Half glass sugar

Squeeze the lemons and dissolve the sugar, add it to the yogurt and mix everything in the blender.

6. Red berries smoothie

  • 400 grams red berries
  • 1/2 liter almond milk
  • 100 gram sugar.

Wash the red berries and cut them into pieces. We put sugar on top and let it rest for 20 minutes in the fridge. We put them in the blender, add the milk and crush until you get a creamy shake.

If we like more sweet we can add a little more sugar. We pass it through a colander to make it finer and put it in the freezer for a while to cool it well.

7. Fruit smoothie with wheat germ

  • 1 banana
  • 1 slice of fresh pineapple
  • 1 glass of orange juice
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons wheat germ
  • 2-3 tablespoons of honey
  • Currants and mint leaves to decorate.

Peel and chop the banana and pineapple (remove the center part). Place in the glass of the blender, squeeze half a lemon, add honey and yogurt and whisk. Strain and reserve. Put the orange juice and wheat germ and whisk in a bowl. Mix everything. Serve in a tall glass and decorate with currants and mint leaves.

These are just some of the many varieties you can make. We recommend that, depending on seasonal fruits, you experiment creating different combinations.
